Sheltered Homeless Point-in-Time Count (PITC)

The Missouri Balance of State (BoS) Continuum of Care (CoC) conducts a Point in Time Sheltered and Unsheltered Homeless count twice a year in order to track the seasonal trends in the homeless population, and to get a more accurate picture of the homeless situation in the state. MASW conducts the Sheltered PITC count while MHDC coordinates the Unsheltered PITC count. The joint report that is published can be viewed on the Governor's Committee to End Homlessness website. MASW publishes a more detailed statistical report with the BoS CoC Sheltered Point-in-Time data.
